Possession Of David O'Reilly-Film Review

This was a nice little ditty (a UK film) about a man (David O'Reilly) visiting a friend's apartment and telling the friend and his girlfriend that strange grotesque creatures are after him. What ensues is a man's descent into madness...or is it? Co-directors Andrew Cull & Steve Isles keep things hopping along after the initial setup with some truly creepy moments. What's left are questions to be raised as the viewer is wondering if this man is all together there or not. Really nice performance from Giles Alderson as the aforementioned David. There's a fine line in acting between believability and cheesiness when acting terrified and panicked and Alderson does a fine job here. As there are only 4 people in the whole film and basically everything happens in Alex's (David's friend played by Nicholas Shaw) apartment the viewer needs to believe in David's terror and in my opinion the filmmakers succeeded in doing this. Recommended with no reservations.
