A nice cast but an average movie about basically two different families. One family (Catherine Keener who plays Kate & Oliver Platt who plays Alex along with their daughter Sarah Steele who plays Abby) has bought the apartment next door but they have to wait for the elderly lady to pass on before they can have it. The other family is the elderly lady's two daughters nicely played by Amanda Peet (who plays a evil bitch really well!) and Rebecca Hall (The Town, The Prestige, Red Riding 1974) who to me was the best thing in the movie. Some funny lines but mainly this is a dramedy more than a comedy. You might recognise Sarah Steele from the Adam Sandler movie Spanglish where she played Tea Leoni's & Adam Sandler's daughter in that as well. Maybe worth a look to you.
