Killer Inside Me-Film Review

Brutal. That's one word I would describe Casey Affleck's performance here. There's violence in this young man coming out at the most surprising times here in this movie. By far the best performance in the movie. Not to say everybody else sucked but it was Affleck's film all the way. Great cast with Kate Hudson, Jessica Alba, Bill Pullman, Elias Koteas, Simon Baker and even Ned Beatty who I don't think I've seen in a movie in years! Nice to see ya again Ned! Affleck plays a sheriff who falls in love with Alba's character but has Hudson's character on the side who wants to settle down and get married. Deception and greed are rampant here as well as violence and brutality. I haven't seen Kate Hudson in this kind of role before. Usually she's in romantic comedies most of the time so it was a pleasant surprise. Jessica Alba was eye candy but little else. But she did what the script asked of her. Pullman (in a small and weird role) was good as he always is when he's on screen. Worth a look when you're searching for something to watch. Recommended for Affleck's performance above all. I'd give him four stars for that.
