Get Him To The Greek-Film Review

A pretty good movie with a scene stealing performance from no other than Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. This man was hilarious in the film. Russell Brand reprises his role from Forgetting Sarah Marshall playing famous pop singer Aldous Snow. Unfortunately Aldous has fallen on hard times as of late, breaking up with his girlfriend Jackie Q (Rose Byrne who has never looked hotter in her life here!, I didn't even know it was her!) Everybody hated his last album African Child and he's basically going down the road of drinking too much and doing more drugs then he can handle. Combs runs a major record company label where the always good Jonah Hill works. He comes up with an ideal where Aldous Snow will go an anniversary show at the Greek Theatre and it's up to Aaron (Hill) to get him to the greek hence the title. And basically that's the movie in a nutshell. From what transcribes in the film is problem after problem of getting Aldous there with some pretty funny results. Brand here has this character down really quite well. He is a good comic actor. I also liked Elisabeth Moss as Daphne who played Jonah's girlfriend in the film. She was a breath of fresh air when she was on screen. But this is all Hill's film for him to make or break and I can safely say he made this a fun time for me. I've liked this guy ever since I saw him in Accepted. He has done some pretty funny work in his career and this is no exception. But watch out for P. Diddy's performance as I said earlier. It's a show stealer!
