Buried

A surprisingly tense and solid thriller considering the set (which must have cost hundreds (lol) involves a man who wakes up literally buried in a coffin with nothing but a cell phone and a flashlight and a few other things which will be revealed later in the film. Ryan Reynolds conveys the necessary fear and emotional turmoil needed for this exercise and does an acting job that probably nobody else could bring anything more to the role. We are transfixed wanting him to somehow be found before something dire transpires. There are other characters here but just their voices as we are with Reynolds the whole time of the film. I really don't know if you could make this movie any better but would it be worth a few more viewings? I can't really say how for me because this roller coaster ride may be good for one ticket. You'll have to see for yourself.
