The second in the trilogy of these amazing films. I am so pumped for the third one you can't believe it. January 4, 2011 is the day the third installment comes out. I can't express enough how everyone who likes foreign films and films in general to buy these films! You will not be disappointed. Perfectly cast with Noomi Rapace as the title girl who is as intriguing character as you will find in films today. When she is on screen it is simply electric. Yes the first film is a hair better (4 1/2 stars), but the middle movie in a trilogy is a lot of times the toughest one to hold people's interest because it's not the start and it's not the end. With this one there's no worries. The story continues with a whole new development for Lisbeth (Rapace), a much more dangerous situation. Okay Shawn you will need to get these films in your library. Add these to the list! I am really worried about the U.S. remakes with Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara (Nancy Holbrook in the new Nightmare on Elm Street-Huh?!!). I just can't believe they will hold a candle to the originals. To those who want the english language versions you will be missing out if you don't watch these in the native tongue. Although sometimes in this movie I swear the people who wrote the subtitles left words out. There were times when the character would spout off like two sentences and you would see like 3 or 4 words on screen. Maybe it's just me. Anyways I can't stress it enough to see the originals before the us versions. Simply phenomenal.
