This has the feel of one of those old school thrillers. I find this in a lot of foreign films that I watch. Two of the better films I've seen like that was a film called "The Unknown Woman" (definitely check that one out) and "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" (need I say more?). Unfortunately I can't say this film holds that high a standard. The actors, which are really amazing here, are the main reason to see this film. The ones that stood out for me are Olivia Williams as Ruth Lang, Adam Lang's (Pierce Brosnan) wife, Pierce himself, and a nice little turn by a bald headed Jim Belushi. He's not on screen hardly at all, in fact just one scene but he nails it. It would have been nice to see more of his character. It's just the film was, at best, average. I kept waiting for it to improve but it just stayed competent. I would still recommend to see it for the great cast and also maybe you'll feel that it's a better film than me. I could definitely see somebody liking it more than me. Check it out and let me know.
