You know if you took away all the SERIOUSNESS of the two leads Bella & Edward these films would be so much better. My God the MELODRAMA of these two are sometimes too much too take. They're so serious in their drama of romance. Of course that really is how teenagers are. Everything is drama in their lives so I guess it goes without saying that they've hit the nail on the head with this. Let's be honest, these books and movies aren't made for people like me or my age. They were never meant to be. Some old fogie like me picked up a copy of twilight or something like that (teen vampire, there's millions of them in young adult novels) and liked it and spread the word and suddenly you had teenagers wondering what the hell grandma was doing in the young adult section right by them. This is my section get out! Geez! Can't I have something that's all mine! Old people SUCK! Still though take out the said melodrama and you have a pretty good albeit tame vampire series for people who don't want their blood all over the screen. Kristen Stewart is a hell of an actress and after you quit laughing just check her out in Cake Eaters (which I think I've said before). She will do some damage in her career mark my words. Robert Pattinson on the other hand I don't know. He hasn't had much success other that this series so we'll have to see. With Dakota Fanning in a very small role and Taylor Lautner as Bella's other love interest the series continues down its road as the town is threatened by a old enemy and a new one as well. I probably like the third one more than the second by a little but the first one is still my favorite. That one is still 3 1/2 stars for me. You know what you're getting with this film. If you like the other two try it out but if you didn't stay away, this one won't change your mind.
