Perrier's Bounty-Film Review

Cillian Murphy plays a small time crook who gets in a little too deep for his own good when one of the men who's after him for money that's owed to his boss accidently gets shot and killed. The man's boss Perrier (played wonderfully by Brendan Gleason) put's a bounty on his head hence the title of the movie. Meanwhile Michael (Murphy) and his neighbor (Jodie Whittaker) are on the run trying to figure out how not to get killed. Also Michael's dad shows up and wants to talk to him about something very important. This is when the comic elements start up. Jim Broadbent plays Michael's dad in a hilarious role who's character doesn't want to sleep anymore because he says death showed up by his bed one night and told him if he slept again he'd die. So needless to say the dad's been trying to stay up any way he can; even eating raw instant coffee right out of the jar! Broadbent was by far the best role in the movie. Sometimes it was hard to understand all the dialogue since the Irish accents were sometimes pretty strong. Not a bad little film.
