| | A 3 actor film that kind of surprisingly kept me going throughout the film. Great performance from Eddie Marsan (a face you very well could recognize from other films) and Martin Compston who kidnap Alice Creed (Gemma Arterton) for a nice little ransom. A nice surprise and key plot point about a third into the film gives the film some extra legs. Really I can't say anything that negative about the film. I don't know if it could be any better, maybe a quarter star more for the acting but it is tough to do a full length movie with only 3 characters in it. If you can handle the few characters the movie has for you then by all means see it at least once. It's definitely worth your time for one showing. Any more will be up to you. | |
